Tell us you are coming
Contact the chapter before you move. We can connect you with alumni who already live in Sylhet.

Find a place to live
Ask alumni about safe, well-connected neighbourhoods near your workplace. Visit before paying an advance and always get a written agreement.

Update your paperwork
Update your address with your bank and employer, and keep copies of your NID and important certificates.

Sort out transport
Work out your daily commute early; alumni can share tips on routes, ride-sharing and parking.

Build your local network
Come to a chapter event or meetup in your first month. It is the quickest way to feel at home.

Give back
Once you are settled, volunteer to welcome the next alumni who move to Sylhet.
