🇬🇧 AANSU – UK Chapter | Advisors & VP Meeting Update ✏️
👉 AANSU – 🇬🇧 UK Chapter is pleased to announce the successful completion of its first “Advisors & Vice Presidents Meeting”, held under the leadership of Sarkar Islam (Shimul), President, AANSU – UK Chapter.
👉 The meeting brought together Mohammad Shafy, Secretary, AANSU – 🇬🇧 UK Chapter, along with the four Committee Advisors and Vice Presidents to discuss the strategic direction, priorities, and future development of the UK Chapter.
📌 The meeting focused on four key strategic pillars, with each pillar being jointly led by an Advisor and Vice President from the Executive Committee.

1. CONNECT – Membership & Alumni Engagement
Lead: Lamyah Sultana Meem (Advisor) & Saima Rahman Tamanna (Vice President)
Focused on expanding membership, reconnecting with NSU alumni across the UK, strengthening communication, and building an active and engaged alumni network.

2. ENGAGE – Events, Culture & Community
Lead: Dr. Abdullah Faruq (Advisor) & Md. Naser Mehdi Chowdhury (Vice President)
Focused on developing an annual programme of social, cultural, sports, and community activities across different parts of the UK to bring alumni together.

3. SUPPORT – Careers, Professional Development & Mentoring
Lead: Muhammad Reaz Shams (Advisor) & Md. Ismail Tushar (Vice President)
Focused on creating professional networking, career development, mentoring, business connections, and opportunities for alumni to support one another.

4. PARTNER – NSU, External Relations & Partnerships
Lead: Shehla Unaiza Hridi (Advisor) & Nabila Mashnoon (Vice President)
Focused on strengthening relationships with NSU, international alumni organisations, external partners, and the wider community to create meaningful opportunities for UK alumni.
👉 Overall Objective
The overall strategy is to build a strong, connected, active, and inclusive NSU alumni community across the UK-one that creates meaningful networking and career opportunities, brings alumni together through events and culture, and develops strong partnerships with NSU and organisations worldwide.
This meeting marks an important step forward for AANSU – UK Chapter Executive Committee 2026–2028, as we work together with shared responsibility, collaboration, and a clear vision for the future.
